Thalictrum thalictroides


Rue Anemone, Thalictrum thalictroides, is a U.S. Eastern woodland native with lovely white to pink flowers 4 to 8″ tall in early spring.  It is a spring ephemeral that gradually enters dormancy during the summer months and re-emerges to flower the following spring.   Grow in humus rich, moderately dry to moist soil in dappled sun or under a deciduous tree in full shade during summer.  Hardy to -40 degrees F.   Ranunculaceae
