Saxifraga paniculata ‘Minutifolia’

As the name suggests, Saxifraga paniculata ‘Minutifolia’ has the teeniest, tiniest foliage and forms a nearly flat mat.  We have yet to see it flower but can assume it will produce sprays of white flowers in summer.  Grow in gritty, well drained soil with moderate water.  It does well in troughs and containers protected from winter wet.  Hardy to -40 degrees F.  Saxifragaceae
