Roscoea scillifolia is a small scale tuberous perennial 6-10 ” high with small orchid-like pink flowers tucked among narrow green leaves in summer. It is an adaptable species that can be grown in sun or shade, it tends to naturalize in a charming manner around in the garden. Roscoeas are the hardiest members of the true ginger family and are solidly hardy and easy to grow in our Zone 8 climate. Yunnan. Hardy to 0 degrees F. Zingiberaceae
