Primula sieboldii 'Mariko' is a Wild Ginger Farm introduction with clusters of wavy edged, dark pink snowflake flowers in spring. Primula sieboldii is a beloved spring flowering perennial in its native Japan where it can be found in flower shows and displayed in parks. It has very showy flowers on an attractive plant with a slowly creeping habit. 6-12″ x 12″+. It flowers early and the foliage can die back later in the season, particularly in warm weather, making room for summer growing plants. Best grown in partial shade in moist soil. Hardy to -30 degrees F.
