Primula sieboldii 'Hoshi' is Wild Ginger Farm introduction with cut edge petals that are white pale pink on the front and darker pink on the reverse.  Primula sieboldii is a beloved spring flowering perennial in its native Japan where  it can be found in flower shows and displayed in parks.  It has very showy flowers on an attractive plant with a slowly creeping habit.  6-12″ x 12″+.   It flowers early and the foliage can die back later in the season, particularly in warm weather, making room for summer growing plants.  Best grown in partial shade in moist soil.  Hardy to -30 degrees F.
