Penstemon euglaucus


Penstemon euglaucus, glaucus beardtongue, has basal rosettes of blue green leaves with flowering stalks to 18” high topped by deep blue, tubular flowers in summer.  Full sun, well-drained soil.  Found massed on open hillsides in the Cascades of Oregon and So. Washington.   Hardy to -10 degrees F. Subsection Proceri.
