Tiger Lily or Columbia Lily, Lilium columbium,  is a bulbous perennial produces 1-4′ tall flowering stems with up to 20 small, yellow-orange flowers with maroon spots and recurved tepals and dark orange anthers. Grow in cool sun to part shade in moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Can withstand summer drought. Found in open woods and clearings from low to high elevation in British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, northern Calfornia, Idaho and Montana. Hardy to -20 degrees F. Liliaceae
