Iris x pacifica 'Wakonda Way’


Iris ‘Wakonda Way' Pacific Coast Iris hybrid is a Wild Ginger Farm introduction with orchid colored falls with a dark purple patch.  It is a vigorous plant with flowers to 12″ in early to mid season.  Grow Pacific Coast Irises in sun to partial shade in well drained soil with low summer water.  Hardy to 0 to 5 degrees F.  Seedling AS9. AIS registered Elliott 2013.

This iris was originally registered as 'Wakonda', the name was changed to 'Wakonda Way' after a very early registration (1930's) of the name 'Waconda' was found.
