Douglas’ Iris, Iris douglasiana, is a vigorous and variable species with linear, evergreen leaves to 3 feet tall with flowers in late spring in colors that range from cream to purple. Grow in sun to part shade in well drained soil. Found on open slopes near the coast from Central Oregon to Southern California Hardy to 0 degrees F. Iridaceae
