Hebe topiara forms a very attractive, compact evergreen mound that grows slowly to 3 x 4' . It has interesting gray-green, pale edged foliage and occaisional white flowers in early summer. Can be used as a specimen plant or as a hedge. Full sun, very well drained soil with moderate water. Quite cold hardy for a Hebe to at least 5 degrees F. Native to the Nelson Mountains, South Island, New Zealand. Scrophulariaceae
