Geum triflorum – Dwarf Form

This is a dwarf form of Prairie Smoke, Geum triflorum, grown from seed collected in Steen’s Mountain, Oregon. It has pinnate leaves with light maroon cup-shaped flowers in late spring and summer. An attractive seedhead follows. 10” x 11” Sun to light shade in well-drained soil with low water. Very cold hardy to -40 degrees F. Native to Western North America. Rosaceae
