Sierra Foothill Fawn Lily, Erythronium multiscapoideum, has multiple branching stems or scapes, glossy green foliage with dark mottling and white to cream tepals with a yellow base in spring. 8-18” high.   This bulbous plant spreads by bulbels growing at the end of stolons.  Sun to part shade, humus rich soil. Keep moist during the growing season.  Summer dormant and drought tolerant. Native the foothills in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California.  -10 degrees F. Liliaceae
