Eriogonum umbellatum hausknechtii Hood

Eriogonum umbellatum var hausknechtii form mats of spoon shaped leaves with umbels of sulphur yellow flowers that become dark orange to red following pollination.  Full sun, low water, very well drained soil.  Hardy to –20 degrees F.  Mount Hood population.
