Thymeleaf buckwheat, Eriogonum thymoides, is a tiny alpine shrublet with narrow, fuzzy leaves and short stems with flowers in a variety of solid and bi-color hues from cream, yellow, orange and red in summer. Very slow growing to up 10 x 20”, generally much smaller in cultivation. Perfect for a trough or alpine garden. Grow in full sun in very well drained soil with low water. –20 degrees F A native of the Eastern Cascades of Washington State. Polygonaceae
