Dodecatheon hendersonii


Henderson’s shooting star, Dodecatheon hendersonii, has thick, spoon-shaped basal foliage and pink to magenta flowers in spring. Grow in sun to part shade in well drained, humus rich soil. Keep moist fall through spring, drier during summer dormancy. Hardy to –10 degrees F.   Grown from seeds collected in Jackson County, Oregon. Primulaceae
