Campanula portenschlagiana – This tongue twister is more easily referred to as the Dalmatian bellflower. It is a mounding evergreen with upward facing lilac-blue flowers that make a nice addition to the rock garden. Sun to part shade, moist well-drained soil. 8” x 6” Hardy to -20 degrees F. Found on the cliffs of Dalmatia we presume in chalky soils. Easy to grow and never a pest in our garden.  Campanulaceae
