Giant Camas, Camassia leitchlinii, is a Northwest native wildflowe that produces showy spikes of deep blue-violet to white flowers in spring above clumps of linear leaves to 36-48”.  This is a spring ephemeral that goes completely dormant in summer.  It can be grown in sun to part shade, moist to dry soil so it is ideal for the unirrigated areas of the Western native garden.  Hardy to -20o F.  Naturalizes.  Liliaceae
