  Neat Mounding Form

This New Zealand native forms a dense, mounding cushion 2” x 12”.   It has tiny, inconspicuous flowers in early summer.  Grow in full sun in sandy soil with regular water.   Use in rock gardens, scree bed, alpine house, troughs.   Hardy to 0 F. Caryophyllaceae

Spring 2006 Update:

Our plants have bloomed and we have verified that the plant we grow is correctly Scleranthus uniflorus.  We have also learned that the name we originally obtained the seed under, S. biflorus ssp uniflorus, is a synonym for S. uniflorus.
