This evergreen cushion of tight rosettes feel a bit like rubber to the touch. It forms a very low groundcover of 1-2” high, spreading slowly over time. The unusual yellow blossoms appear in late spring and early summer. It does best when grown in full sun, in gritty, well drained
soil. It has been a reliable performer in our scree bed and rock gardens. It also works well in troughs and containers. Hardy
to –10 degrees F. Native to Chile. Apiaceae
