Multi-stemmed, clump forming perennial with narrow linear leaves and clusters of pale blue, star shaped flowers in spring.   24" x 18"   Adaptable to a wide range of garden conditions.  Grow in sun to light shade in well-drained soil with regular to low water.  Native to the Eastern US where it is found most often in moist habitats such as open woodlands, ravines and disturbed areas. Damaged stems secrete a milky sap that can cause skin irritation.  Hardy to -30 degrees F.  Apocynaeae
